So this week we took a quick GIRLS ONLY trip to Chicago. Although family time is super important, it is also important to give each kid individualized attention. For us, that means getting the girls away from the little brother every once in awhile so they don’t have to compete for attention. We took, what was supposed to be, a quick 2 day trip to Chicago. However, due to a last minute flight cancellation, we didn’t get to come home until the next day.
For this trip we tried to find some of the most kid-friendly activities to do in Chicago. We went to Millennium Park and played on a giant playground, walked to the Shedd Aquarium where we learned all about marine life, and even got to ride the iconic Ferris wheel on the Navy Pier. The girls had such a fun time. They even got to experience the joys of airline travel when things don’t go right. But after lots of stress, phone calls, and sleepless hours, we made it home. That’s all the matters in the end.
Thanks for watching,
